What an empty day. Maybe it's called practicing your stealth.. Maybe it's called meditation through vicarious social experience. Maybe it's called boredom. Maybe it's just groceries. Whatever it is, you're doing a whole bunch of nothing very important out on the streets of Seattle as the weather suddenly takes a turn. What had been a fairly mild day of light cloud cover and a reprieve from the heatwaves of late becomes, in but the span of a quarter hour, a howling wild squall. Rain plasters against the windows, the passing cars, and the people like tiny bullets. Not even a staccato beat any more, it's more a constant low thrum of pulsing torrential rain. From your hastily taken shelter, you look out and observe the ferocity of nature. Then your commlink bings. Your fixer's put a message through. The voice that filters through your ears is low and throaty. The tone of a woman inured to work and hardship.

"Hey. You chummers don't know me. Been a while since I've reached out like this. I need your help. There's an old wrong needs righting and the first chance I've seen to do it in years just came in. Can't do it alone. Can't do it myself. Can't even really pay you all that much. But if you're interested in doing a little right in this drekhole of a city we live in - or at least in making sure wrongs are punished - you go ahead and answer."

  • Shimmy

The rain continues unabated, drenching the world around you. What do you do?

OOC: I'll need your sheet PDF posted, your role on a team, the date of your alst run if any, and whether or not you've had 5 runs on the Hub. In Character writeup/prompts involving the message and scene I've set in the posting are appreciated and lovely to read but are by no means required.

I will be picking no later than an hour before start time, most likely an hour and a half to 2 hours beforehand.
