Dark as the Night

As dark as the night,
as brutal the fight.
Raging on inside of me,
to be the boy I'll never be.

As I rise up in the morning,
the hatred inside me roaming.
As I continue existing,
against the sadness, I'm resisting.

Laying in my bed,
the knife is shining red.
My veins are cut wide open,
but you just won't stop hopin'

My life is now away,
it was not there to stay.
This is the end of the line,
your love has never been mine.

Now go and find someone other,
with his life still full of color,
let him be your new lover,
and don't let yourself suffer.
