Anyone else get the wrong board?
Ordered a Mini X on day 1, today I got a Mini S in the mail. Kinda peeved as I bet the turnaround time on getting my real board is not going to be quick.
Anyone else have this happen? Hopefully I'm just an anomaly.

This happened to me too! Somebody linked my post above. I haven't heard back from Boosted yet. Have you heard from them on how long it's gonn take?
I left them a voicemail, that's the best I can do at this point. Hopefully u/boostedboards can get their stuff together and make it happen this week. I sincerely doubt it though.
I bet it's yours! I am joking of course :P
Surely we can't be the only ones. I bet we'll see more of these posts before the end of the week.
I've been riding the S they sent me. Their mistake here.
To ride or not to ride, that is the real question right now for you :P
Ride. ;)
Raining here today, let's see what they come up with before tomorrow.

Pretty sure this doesn't apply here, as the designation of "S" and "X" are variations of an ordered piece of merchandise.
To try and scam them out of an extra board is unethical and pretty fucking scummy.
Moreover, you actually trying that shit is only to fuck things up for other customers who need help from Boosted, and they'll simply increase their stringency on (e.g.) warranty help, out of warranty help, sending out parts, etc.
So I hope you're joking. If you're not, fuck off.

Oh, I'm sure that amidst their scramble to ship orders out and answer service and warranty claims alongside managing PR they are ramping up their Mini S/X scam operations to weasle an extra couple hundred from a few people to supplement the already massive amount of income they're getting as they expand their company. Makes total sense.
Or...it could have been a shipping error among the hundreds of boards they send out at a time. Far less likely, but also possible.
Is it their problem to fix? Absolutely.
However looking up that FTC regulation on you and the other S recipient being able to keep an extra board shows a very unfortunate mindset that only harms other customers.
I hope it works out for you man, I honestly do.
