The humble mud

Picked up as dirt and transferred to the pot,
But only a seed could see the life it brought.

Acclaimed by all is the seed’s ability to grow,
By-passing the importance of the “mud “ below.

It can nurture a seed and transform a rock so tough,
That’s why they say you found a diamond in the rough.

The eyes that can see what "nothing" can do,
Has the power to see everything in a humble view.
