i want a love that comes easy

but i don't practice what i preach

i chase the conditional, the flash in the pan

i hold onto that moment of sunrise

pretending that's all of you.

forgetting that you're also

the still morning

the strange afternoon

the lost night.

forgetting all your in-between

to forget my own.
