Her.
Her
She is a labyrinth set ablaze, I lose myself in her passionate
flames
a deep well in which I find myself
drowning
and she is a smouldering coal that provides warmth when I am
cold, so cold.
She is a messiah, she is my faith, the light I turn to when
I need help
She is the peace that quenches the
hunger
She is the song that silences
my screams.
I go outside, feel the
fresh breeze upon my face
She hides.
Yet, she is six feet deep beneath my thoughts, a parasite that darkens
the calm blue skies.
She fights.
I tell myself I am not okay, I am not okay.
You are fine, you are fine.
She lies.
And once again, I find myself lost in her passionate flames
I am afloat in her ocean
She warms me.
I am fine. I am fine.
