[M4F][Office Romance] [First Debut] “Anna, would you kindly…”

NSFW

“Anna, would you kindly refresh my cappuccino?”

“Anna, would you kindly brief Mr. Summers on his updated contract?”

“Anna, would you kindly finish this paperwork before lunch?”

Those were just a small sample of the commands your boss, Giovanni Moretti, gave you from Monday through Friday, 9 to 5. You’d recently been hired as a general secretary to assist with day to day operations, mostly paperwork. A burly man in his forties. Defined chin. Sharp nose. Ivory skin. Green eyes. Decent-looking, but hardly the man most women dreamed of.

But, Giovanni had one characteristic that many men didn’t have. And that was his voice. It sounded like waves slowly, but gently crashing against sandy cliffs, wearing down the jagged edges until they were smooth. It was easy to lose yourself in that voice and do whatever it asked you to.

As you found yourself filling my cappuccino for the 3rd time that day, one of the senior accountants approached you from behind. “Everything good Sylvie?”

“Eh, it’s a life.” Sylvie answered back with a shrug, seemingly bored until a smile curled her lips. “I know it’s hard to help yourself, but try to stop staring so blatantly.”

You opened your mouth to retort back, but only found yourself stammering, “Wha-what are you talking about- I don’t know-“ Despite being in her mid-fifties with a graying bobcut, Sylvie still loved to gossip with the younger girls despite showing no interest in men or sex herself. You figured that it was because she hit menopause that she spoke about sex so freely.

“Girl, you’re redder than a tomato right now. I’m not judging, hell every third employee here has crushed on him at one point.” Sylvie chuckled, more amused than provoking. “I’m just saying it’s a waste of time. Man’s married; and he’s loyal to his wife. You should’ve seen the time Giovanni made this punk-ass looking kid practically shit himself when he slapped her short-skirted ass at the bar. It was watching a hunter realize the lion he’s been tracking also can use guns.” She laughed louder at this, wiping the small tears from her eyes at the memory. You followed suit, but found yourself imagining me slapping your ass whilst hurriedly returned to my office.

“Thank you Anna.” I took the mug from your hands. Even the simple brush of our fingers made you catch your breath. I took a sip, then smiled pleasantly at you. “Just how I like it. I’ll have an assignment a bit more meaningful for you soon, don’t worry. Maybe tomorrow. I’m heading back home early tonight. Surprising the wife with flowers and dinner. Perhaps we’ll even go out dancing.”

“You’re welcome sir. And uh, good luck with that. She’s a lucky woman.” You answer back breathlessly.

I nodded, taking another sip before looking up. “Are you alright Anna? You seem a bit flushed. Not coming down with a fever, are you?”

“No sir. Just a bit tired. That’s all.” You answer as I set down my mug and rummage through one of my drawers, pulling out a small bottle of Advil. I press the bottle into the lightning rod that was your open palm, the running electricity making what few hairs on your arm stand on end.

“Well, take two of these just in case. It’s going to be busy for the next two weeks. I’ll need you at peak performance for the work that’s coming in.”

You left my office and sat at your desk for 15 minutes before doing any work. Yup, I was definitely married, evident by the portrait of my wife on my desk, or the ring on my finger. Still, at least you had those moments where you were lying down on the back of your couch of your small apartment, knees up to your face as fingered yourself to ecstasy. At least nobody could take those from you.

I wasn’t at the office the next day. Or the day after. Or the next. Rumors spread. Apparently I’d caught my wife in bed with another man that day. Things had gotten… nasty to say the least. We’d immediately separated for the time being, to cool off, see if we could pick up the pieces of our shattered marriage. Another rumor spread that I would be taking some time off work. You weren’t sure if you’d see me again.

But as it turns out, a ship without its captain was about as useful as a chicken without a head, especially in such difficult times. I was back by next week. The office’s attitude was to never mention the event, under any circumstances. Best to act like it never happened, lest it cause him unnecessary distress. And I abided with that silent contract. I kept a lid on my sullenness and all seemed normal, even if the air was a little bit tense from time to time. You performed your tasks dutifully, just as you would’ve before.

“Here’s your cappuccino, Mr. Moretti. Just how you like it,” You add as you hold out the mug, expecting me to take it from your hands. But just like the last couple times, I’m preoccupied staring at the documents before me, past them really into the ground, my memory of whatever text is printed upon them evaporating as soon as they leave eyesight.

I blink, returning to Earth. “Thank you, Anna.” I say in a flat voice. I still don’t reach out for the mug, forcing you to place it on the desk for me.

“Is there anything else I can do for you, sir?”

“…no.” There’s a finality that lets you know that you’re dismissed.

You should turn around. Act normally. You shouldn’t break company protocol, but you couldn’t stand this anymore, stand to see me like this. You clear your throat. “Sir. Mr. Moretti. I’m sorry about what happened between you and your wife. I really am. If there’s anything I could do, anything at all, to make you feel better, I’d be more willing.”

You stand there, chest heaving slightly, but there’s still limited response from me. You walk away, defeated, shoulders drooped.

“Anna...”

You turn around, perhaps even too quickly, beaming with brightness. “Yes, sir?”

“…would you kindly wear a skirt tomorrow?” My eyes bore into yours.

“Of course, Mr. Moretti.” You smiled, performing a short bow before you made your exit. And that began a series of new commands.

“Anna, would you kindly wear heels for me?”

“*Anna, would you kindly massage my shoulders?”

“Anna, would you kindly come into my office after hours?”

You wondered: what would be your next command?
