In almost every playoff series we played since we started making the playoffs, the other team had the best player. All we would hear from the media was that we were the better team but they had the best player.
Last year people said Wall was the best player.
2017 Gianiss was touted as the best player
2016 first round and second round, Paul George and Wade were argued as the best players.
This year we might make it through the east with the best player in each series on our side.

People need to realize just how dominant Kawhi was in his last playoff run.
28/8/5 on 68 TS with arguably the best defense in the league. Thats someone that can win you games you have no right winning.
Dude averaged 31/6/4 on 72 TS% against a Top 7 Defense in the league that year. And he was destroying the best team in the league during Game 1 before Zaza fucked it all up.
