Omg I did NOT expect that movie to be that good!! I went in expecting a good slasher movie, and came out with a huge smile on my face. Loved the black comedy and Erin is a total badass. At every single turn she was smarter than everyone else in the room, and even after the reveal, she was unfazed and prepared to SURVIVE. Now this film is up there with my favorite horror films! 😈

One of the best horror movies. Very refreshing to see a smart character lead.
If you love You're Next you should watch Kristy it's a very similar slasher film. the final girl is also a lot like Erin as well. If you're from the U.S. Kristy is on the Netflix in the U.S.
Also have you seen the Scream movies? Sidney Prescott is a lot like Erin a total-badass final girl who outsmarts her killers.

Glad you enjoyed it! It can be a challenge to find likable characters in a horror movie (this is especially true when it comes to women), but You’re Next did a really great job in giving as a strong, likable, and intelligent female lead.
I also really liked the dry, dark humor that was going on. It has some great laughs. It’s a great modern horror, without a doubt.
