Speaking of materialism on one of my first materialist games in my current string of them, I was literally the ONLY materialist in a galaxy where ALL the AI except one FE was a degree of spiritualist. Yet somehow I got good enough relations with some to get in a federation and from there the members all loved me and we started waging ideology wars to bring people into the fed and they liked me too then. It was pretty dang funny

I had a game where I accidentally left it near a border and someone declared war and killed it right at the start... I not only declared war every chance I had, I changed their species to be edible through genetic manipulation and fed them to the entire galaxy.

Well I pick a name that I feel my civ would adopt as a mascot, (currently aut-xpho-mat: Wraith) but I think of it as Bubbles.

I'd like to be able to put my collection of space critters all into a single fleet so they are well protected. A space zoo, one that doesn't clutter up the outliner and so that the fleet can be protected by filling it out with regular warships.
Or, alternatively, get a tech to clone Bubbles and to make fleets of Bubbles.
You still wouldn´t send them into combat you just would hop into your flagship and take a bubblebath every now and then.
I wish I could merge all those space fauna ships into one fleet.

Specifically, it's an anomaly event from the Distant Stars DLC. If you don't have the DLC, you wouldn't have seen the anomaly.

Meanwhile, I can totally explain it. Bubbles was the only thing stopping space pirates early on in my playthrough.
