This is a sad realization of the level of MLS. All of our stars won't be here for more than 2 years if that.
Better than them being average players with no outside interest.
I've been trying to tell myself it's like NCAA sports, where you're fully aware that your players won't stick around and the best ones will leave fastest. Still feels bad tho
That's exactly how I look at it. Many of the veterans will be around for years, but the elite, young stars will likely move on to Europe and we'll have to recruit new ones to replace them. But the same thing happens in big-time college sports.
Dude. I’d def buy a Porto shirt if they nabbed him. I’d be sad to see him go, but... SUPER DRAGOS
Is MLSTransfers really a reliable source?
No
I still think gressel has a chance of being sold first. Versatile starter for lots of leagues yet still cheap.
He’s versatile in the sense that he can function in multiple positions but he only makes a difference at RWB or RM. Even then he lacks the pace to make an impact in bigger leagues in that position. He’d have to play in another possession-heavy setup where he can whip in multiple crosses and I doubt he’d end up in one.
Love our hometown boy, and definitely love the fan reaction when he comes on the field, but how great for him! Would love to see him move up!
scouring is a very thorough look yes?
Meant to say scouted... fuck
Scoured sounds even more intense.
Haha yes I suppose I’m lucky my typo created an actual word.
They scoured him because they thought he was grate.
They cleaned every crevice!
