They're taking our jobs
They do a drop in service, I can't complain.
I was sat on my front steps the other day and a magpie landed on our roof and started chucking moss off the roof at me, little bastard.
Back when we had rain, the neighbour's guttering overflowed & when he got up on a ladder he found the grill over a downpipe had been damaged & it was full of paper - could not figure out how it got there.
The next day I saw a crow fly up on his (flat) roof with a big bundle; turns out it was old chips in a wrapper. Crow eats the chips, and then shoves the paper down the drainpipe. I am almost convinced it was deliberate sabotage for the shits and giggles, tbh.
Not going to tell him though as I rely on the crows to rip the moss out of my lawn.
They really are clever. Recycling is good for everyone.!I think they know what they are doing so clever and sneaky.
Someone needs to design a litter bin that gives them food reward in exchange for rubbish.
There was a start up looking at rewarding crows for collecting cigarette butts.

Excellent, we need more of this sort of thing.
The dolphins in one of the sea worlds, are rewarded with a fish every time they return rubbish from their pool to their keepers, they apparently worked out if they tore the items into bits, they could get a fish per bit, thus increasing their reward per item.
