Hope in Closure

A spark of hope  
Give me a sign  
I could be hers  
She could be mine  


In bed we lay  
Hearts intertwine  
Now I am hers  
And she is mine  


Our time precious  
We sip like wine  
Can I stay hers?  
Can she stay mine? 


The world it spins  
Paths out of line  
I can’t stay hers  
Nor she stay mine  


As time goes on  
I will be fine  
Once I was hers    
And she was mine
