Some scumbag in my hometown got caught on camera drop kicking a cat and people are (rightfully) losing their minds. If only they had the same rage for all animals, and not just pets.

This article has been floating around Facebook the last few weeks and it’s taken a lot of restraint to not call everyone out for how hypocritical they’re being by only caring about abuse towards pets, when animals raised for slaughter are being tortured continuously. It just makes my blood boil. I figured you guys could relate. I want to reply, but I don’t know how to do it kindly. I’ve been trying to reduce the amount of arguing and negativity in my life, especially when it comes to debating morality/veganism. I wonder how Earthling Ed would reply to something like this.
