[Fates Storyhack] Conquest:GGG Chapter 24 Story Re-write!
It has been revealed that King Garon is being slowly consumed by the cruel and malevolent entity Anankos. In a desperate attempt to free the King from this terrible state and restore him to the kind and just Father that he once was, Corrin has a plan. They'll get their Father to sit on the Hoshidan throne, which can restore one to their true form and mind. But it won't be easy! Such an action is tantamount to accepting subjugation, and the Hoshidan Royalty will not simply allow a hostile foreign army to take over their kingdom! Great strides have been made in the assault against Hoshido, but these strides come at great cost. The many injured and fallen weigh heavy on the heart. A surprised Corrin now find themselves joined on the battlefield by the possessed King Garon and his henchmen. The combined might of the Nohrian army make short work of resistance offered at the Great Wall of Suzanoh. Beaten and broken, Takumi suddenly began speaking cryptic words of finding great power. After more cryptic words that sound almost regretful, he plunges himself off the wall. Both Azura and Corrin are shocked to find no body where he fell. What could have happened, and what did he mean by his words? The final words spoken by the missing prince continue to haunt Corrin's ears as they march onward to their forsaken home. It wants you.
In Chapter 24, the line between Corrin and the grim mask they wear to win King Garon's trust continue to blur. This change in personality has not gone unnoticed by Xander. After Corrin makes a particularly callous line regarding their Hoshidan siblings, Xander confronts them about their recent behavior. Following a series of heartfelt statements, he challenges them to guard their heart even in the midst of war. But how can Corrin do such a thing when the next person they must fight is their own sister? Perhaps only the dark blade at Corrin's side knows the answer.

I always felt the whole Justice Is An Illusion line could've been much better in a better story. All the inspirational stuff just doesn't make sense in a story as morally lopsided as Fates's. The moral Xander's trying to get across here makes much more sense in the context of the story.
