- Based off of same Cryptonight algorithm (anonymity at the core)
- Has bigger supply (advantage for bigger scale adoption)
- Recent talks of smart contracts and untraceable tokens will blow any CURRENCY out the water, if this project is executed 100%.
- To me...personally. the "Bytecoin" name sounds SOOOOOOOOO MUCH MORE appropriate for a digital currency that is supplementary to Bitcoin.
Surpass Monero?- We would probably need to see a couple of solid use-cases for BCN before we see adoption/awareness on a bigger scale. XMR is used on the deep web for anonymous transactions (the same thing that got BTC popular) We can only watch as the awareness grows, implementation kicks in and of course- price speaks for itself.

We couldn't agree more, which is why the BCN is looking to solidify its position as the leading cryptocurrency in future updates, especially relating to the hardfork and developing more use cases. Big things are coming to Bytecoin and we have no doubt that our community will be excited to see them!
sadly there is already smart contracts with anonymity at the core
there is ether-monero mutant out there.

At $1 per coin bytecoin would have a market cap of 184 BILLION dollars. At $10, it would be 1.84 TRILLION market cap.
I want bytecoin to moon as much as the next guy, but you have to be realistic. I think $1 is realistic if there’s wide spread adoption and an influx of every day users/investors. Maybe even $2. But $10? How? How would that ever happen? The devs have said they’ll never burn coins. It’s got going to happen.

With The USD almost covering 100,000,000,000,000 ( Trillion $$$) in global debt (securities, bonds, petro dollar, credit, etc.) JUST THE UNITED STATES. Not including the almost 200 other countries...
check the http://www.usdebtclock.org/ to see what kind of numbers the United States ALONE is dealing with..
if you keep looking at this new technology as JUST speculation fun, then sure...i don't expect the WORLD to spend more than 1% of its wealth on THE NEW WAY OF MONEY..
right now...with only max of 10% of people knowing about crypto.....multiply the market cap of all crypto at least by 10x.
Then you have Wall street investors, along with Big Corporations- IBM, Microsoft, etc....to whom BILLIONS are little ;)
Please, my friends... stop thinking INSIDE the box... there are a lot of money the big populous was never meant to witness.....until crypto ;)
