Hypergraphia

Why does writing keep me up at night?

It's not because I love it, though I do.

Want to know the reason why I write?

It's because my brain compels me to.

Hypergraphia is what it's called.

I may have little seizures in my brain.

It's not that bad so do not be appalled.

Albeit, it sometimes drives me insane.

Before my medication it was bad.

What I wrote made very little sense.

Now that I control it I'm not sad.

Though surely I still come off as intense.

I guess I wouldn't have it otherwise.

You can call it crazy if you will.

I'll try to write throughout my lows and highs

'cause what I want to do is hone my skill.
