I have a Plasma Envy on the way as well! That disc is pure money. Stable enough to get on it, yet neutral enough to shape.

The river is a fantastic understable driver. I carry an opto and occasionally a seasoned recycled line. Fantastic at carving up wooded courses with hyzerflip lasers or long controlled turnovers. A fresh, heavy opto will usually take the turnover and start to fight out of it and land flat. No cut roller landings. And it glides for daaaaaaays.

I am an eagle x thrower and have a super beat star that does everything the River does.... EXCEPT for the rivers glide, which gives it more distance potential than my beat eagle.

As you can probably tell by the list here, I go primarily understable. I also prefer my discs light. I just don't have an amazing arm (yet . . .) but yea, I'm stoked for my River! Heard so many great things about them. I wish I could have got it in gold line, but all their gold line Rivers were 170+ and that's just too heavy for me to get all I can out of it. Don't get me wrong, I can throw a 175 disc, but I can't turn it over at will.

It’s not raining here, by my new putters should be here today and I’m thinking I need another order of plastic on the way, because reasons. Hmm.

The trick is to buy so much that you forget what is on the way, makes it extra exciting.

That's the spirit!

It's as if you're in my head. Reading my thoughts.

Did you buy me new discs too?

I almost drove the disc golf store instead of to the course yesterday because of the rain. Its been absolutely nuts lately...

Just throw on a rain jacket and go play in the rain, then when your tournament round gets rained out, you’re ready for it. Or, you know, stay dry. Whatever ya want, I just love playing in all weather and think everyone should.

All I hear is that I need to buy a set discs in base plastic for rainy tournaments.

The stability is going to be way different and the Grip won’t be that much better. You’ll just be throwing slippery discs that you don’t know yet. Throw your regular discs when they’re wet, throw on the really windy days, thrown glow rounds. It all helps.

Come join us in sunny California! Played today and I’m 90% sure that the air quality wasn’t “hazardous” in my area
