Tammy

Tammy works at Walmart.

She works five days a week.

Her boss calls her a sweetheart.

I'd even say she's meek.

Tammy's happy greeting

will bring you to the store.

But time for her is fleeting;

she dreams of something more.

Her dream’s to be a farmer;

She wants a piece of land.

She's always quite the charmer

but no one understands.

Tammy saves her money

but never will she see

her land of milk and honey.

Yet she remains carefree.

You never see her pouting;

she always wears a smile.

Her dream she’s never doubting

though it might take a while.
