Robot armor and Power Armor

I was thinking the other day about how all the power armor looks plain, even with paint. Then I was thinking about how mean some of the Rust Devil robots look.

I think it would be interesting to have a Power Armor that looks as mean as the Rust Devil robots.

Are there any mods that allow you to put the Automatron robot armors on a power armor frame? Is it even possible?

If you really want to look mean then wear a suit and hat with top tier ballistic fiber and a pair of sunglasses. Badass on tap.

I'm wondering what's the definition of "plain".

Many Rust Devil robots look like a walking pile of bulky scrap metal. Billy The Bin of New Junk City from Earthworm Jim.

The closest you really get is Raider power armor which is made of junk. Using the power armor paints in the UCO mod you can make the Raider power armor look fairly bad ass. Without mods though they seem to have left it out of the color schemes you get with other power armors.
