Roll button always greyed out and the UI is painful on the small screen - can’t see bet amount because text field isn’t big enough. Can’t actually change the bet amount properly because some weird validation rules keep zeroing the field...

We are unable to duplicate your issues which makes fixing them difficult, we will try to help. Could you try force quitting Toshi and restarting it?
If the roll button is greyed out sounds like you may not be connected to a node. Give the page a few seconds to connect. You may also want to try force clearing cache in Toshi by visiting our URL with a random parameter such as https://etheroll.com?t=1 as we have noticed Toshi cache can sometimes be an issue.
Are you able to provide a screenshot of your other issues? Are you on the latest version of Toshi?
Edit: Looks like the latest version of Toshi which has just been released has introduced breaking changes. We will contact them for bug fixing. Please let them know also.
Edit2: You can still play on mobile Toshi using our classic version at https://classic.etheroll.com whilst we sort this issue out on the newer version.

I stopped using toshi. Status is better
does Etheroll work with status? guessing it does from what you've said
You can place bets but you can’t see results in Status. Soon. Status team is working on updates as we noticed some issues on their end https://github.com/status-im/status-go/issues/1110
