Be proud of yourself. You've had such a big impact on this community and have inspired so many people including myself to start running. A big congratulations for completing the program, I'm looking forward to seeing how much further you can come as well!

Also good luck with your upcoming semester in school!

You are awesome, Nobodez. I'm going to miss your updates if they're ending with the program. You're a continuous source of inspiration in dealing with my own struggles. Don't let the haters get you down, stay positive! And sincerely, thank you.

I still plan on posting updates, just not as often, perhaps once a week rather than thrice.

Best of luck, make it happen!

My plan is to stay with the 30 minute runs for a while and work to improve ground covered each time. Might also be time for me to supplement the running with other activities on off days, too

You made it! You rock my dude - just think of how far you've come. Look at your first few posts, your progress is fantastic and no one can ever take that away from you. You've rocked it from the start and you'll keep rocking it - thank you for posting, seeing your posts always puts a smile on my face <3

You rocked it! Well done!

One thing you could try is going back to week 6 or so and doing those runs again to see if you can build on your distance. Keep us posted on your progress!

You might try starting over and just running faster during each interval. I did that last year and it helped bigtime towards finishing the 5k.

That another thing I was thinking of doing, but with the fall semester starting next week, I'm not sure if I can, but I'll definitely think of doing it next summer if I'm still at my current pace some May.

Well I know it helped me. Just don't fall into the trap I did after doing this twice last year. I thought I would take a break from running and row, so I did a month of rowing every day. And after that I kinda fell off of it completely and here I am almost a year later having to start over having lost all my running gains.

Congrats on completing the course! It’s been great to watch your progress and inspiring. :)

Maybe look into Galloway running if you haven’t heard of it- it’s a great way to build distance and a little more forgiving on your joints.

Just looked up Galloway running - thanks for the tip!

I know it's probably hard to see just going day by day, but the change in your body shape is already happening - it's wild! Congrats!!

It looks like your beard got bigger but I think that is actually because your face got smaller :)

Yeah, I'm still working towards a 5k too, even though I'm pretty close to finishing the program. We've got this!!

You are my inspiration to complete the program! Thank you!

I just did w8d3 and I did it off book, I did a free run. It took me 50 minutes, but I did the 5k distance! I found that the time on c25k was giving me an excuse to quit when I could have kept going. So, i did free runs instead of W8 and on the last day of it, I managed a 5k distance. You can do it!!

I'm thinking of doing a full 5k Monday. I don't have the time to do it Saturday, since I've got my D&D game later than morning, but that was the thought.

You can do it!! It took me a couple tries to hit the distance because with the app i was getting 2.5km consistently. Making that much of a distance improvement left me needing some extra recovery days for sure.

Oooh. I miss d&d.
