My First Non-Forced Poem. This is a very personal poem to me.

Lost Friends

I don’t know if I’ll ever send this to you

But if I do

Its cuz I’d been thinking of you

And all the things that we used to do

We used to girl have so much fun

Now I look and you’re on the run

What went wrong between us, I don’t know

But this friendship, has lost its soul

I tried to call and I tried to write

I tried to please you friend, and make it right

Without you around you know I cry at night

And nonstop check that notification light

But just like you it doesn’t come

And now I know there’ll be no fun

But that’s the way you want it done

So I’ll have to try to respect that one

I just ask that for me you may

Gimme just, one more day

Let’s go to the lake, I’ll bring a ball, we’ll play

Then we can walk, around the bay

But you can save your breath cuz I know you’d say

I’m sorry Joe, but I can’t today

This friendship I cannot amend

And I don’t have the heart to spend

Too much on you I did depend

And so this break-up I must attend

But I’ll wish you well until the end

And prayers to you I’ll always send

You know they say all good things must end

And so does this,

Goodbye my friend.
