He held important offices while in government. But while in opposition he was hyperpartisan and while in office didn't distinguish himself.
He was no great loss to Canada when he left office and continues to underwhelm in private life.
The less I hear of him the better, that he pops up now with this tirade just makes me want him to go away and not take up too much air.

Mr. Baird's self interest demonstrates he has little regard for ethics for the office he had previously held. I would choose whore over traitor, even a traitor believes in something. That and the mental picture is far more amusing.

It's not fair to compare him to a whore. A whore tells you up front what they're willing to do for money and usually do their best to make it a pleasant experience. I'm sure most whores also wouldn't stoop so low as to betray their country.

Baird is a joke. His time in office was a joke, his moral high ground is a joke. Nothing he's ever done has been in the name of anything except his bank account.

It’s only slightly amusing to me that if this was reversed and he was a citizen of Saudi Arabia, and went and bashed Saudi Arabia publicly, his life or at very least his freedom would be in danger.
Reality is, despite his actions here, he will continue to enjoy a safe and wonderful life here at home.
We all know there are people out there who only live to serve themselves, but such a public display of a lack of moral - to praise a dictatorship over your own country who extends to you the rights and freedoms you flaunt - I find deeply disturbing.

There were some pretty substantial rumours (and pics on Twitter I believe) that John was photographed by Mossad with some teenage boys on his last state visit to Israel, that’s why he got shitcanned from the government all of the sudden.
John is (probably) compromised at this point and is just spouting off what his new masters have told him to.
