I wanted to ask around if using SRs is possible without investing in the SSR class. I am mostly talking about the ones with good effects like Jake and possibly the harpoon blue unit...whats his name?

Cordelia. Saya. Anulet. Olive. Aristo.
There are a few more. But those 5 are the ones that stand out the most to me.
not sure why are u even trying this. SSRs are so abundant that one can hardly be lacking , the only thing lacking is a synergistic team of SSRs
SSR are usually have some direct improvements compared to SR, so yes.
I mean, it's easier to upgrade skills for an SR. I would only consider using a SR unit if you can't have a specific SSR that does the same job better. In my case Cordelia and Ester ( I have Rue, Deimos and Karen, but a healer of the same type that the rest of the team is way better) and I get enough duplicates to upgrade them. Ester heals around 20% with a single attack and she gets like half her own health at the same time... So yeah, it's possible and can work for like "mid game". End game just remember that a maxed SSR unit is better than a maxed SR.
The reason I ask is because i already have a rank 170+ account with all the top SSRs and wanted to try a challenge on the side on another account. I always liked Jakes design so wanted to see the difference in difficulty by using the lower ranked units.

yep, if you want an account that cant do 4* advents and can barely do arena, go ahead and invest everything in SR. otherwise go for the obviously smarter choice which is SSR.
If you're really set on not using SSR, I recommend using R units from advents. they have same stats as SR but easier to max.
