Upgrading to one X need help!
What's the best way to make sure no personal data is left behind? Is there anything besides my gamertag I need to delete before trading my console in?

There’s an option in the settings to wipe your profile from the Xbox, not sure of exactly what it’s called (not near my Xbox currently) but you’ll find it there if you look (:

Under the Xbox One settings under system, there is an option to reset the console. Reset it and choose the option "reset and remove everything" meaning the console will be a blank slate for the next owner.

Everything needs to be wiped from the xbox, so a full factory reset after you have transferred over the data through the network transfer once you have the X
That's another concern of mine. I'm going to be trading in my console so I won't be able to transfer Data unless they do that in store. Most of my games are already saved to an external hard drive. Are game saves, saved to the Xbox or are they all cloud based? I don't wanna leave anything behind lol
You can back up your account setting to the HD too, making setting up the X easier. Game saves are i the cloud. You might want to remove the console as your 'home' console but that will change once you set the new console as 'home'.
