The profile reminds me a little of a Newport 30. It's hard to say how long that boat is. It could be anywhere between a 27 to a 30 footer
Maybe a Macgregor? ...although the stern looks wrong.
Tiny day sailor you are looking at there. Probably lots of fun to sail, and a bit slow. Possibly trailerable.
Have fun!
tiny? thats bigg for me, sailed accross oceans in 5 meter little yacht, this gonna be full house to live forever.
Well, color me impressed. A 16 foot boat (5 meter) is very small.
I had a 33 foot boat. Storing enough provisions on a 33 foot boat for major passages was difficult. I don't know how you did it. How much water could you carry? Did you have an engine? Batteries? Seriously curious.
Most ocean passages I made (as crew, on other people's boats) were the 55 foot to 75 foot range.
provisions: freeze dried food, fishing. water maker from salt water to fresh small one. no motor, alone no crew, its not hard apart from shit sleep and slow speed, tho im very ascetic person probably not for everyone haha
Well good on you!
I also was a single sailor. Your are tougher than I.
First, where did you see it? City/country.
Second, are you still there? If so, you can ask at the marina office and they can likely tell you.
Third, if you are 100% sold on buying a boat based solely on what it looks like from the outside, you're doing it wrong.
italy, city is Livorno, i am asking for model so i can read about it ofc, not just gonna buy.
Boats in that size/style/age are a dime a dozen. Don't get fixated on a particular model.
Also, learn how to sail before you spend time obsessing about boats. It may turn out that you don't even like sailing.
First things first: learn to sail.
iv sailed for 24 years so far, pretty avid sailor, never owned big boat tho, searching for one old and cheap, jist researching not gonna jump buy
