Through The Doorway

Through the doorway I see only shadows

Shadows that feast

Be them of mortals or of beast

The dank corridor stretches

A seemingly endless path

Darkness expands

Possessing ruinous wrath

I have seen the doorway

I have felt my soul burn

I vowed never to wander through

For I fear I won’t return
