Dance

It starts with 1 voice saying come join the dance, but as you take their hand suddenly more voices appear.

Next thing you know the voices are controlling your movements and thoughts.

You start to shake and think things that aren't true.

Sometimes they make you freeze and they plant a seed that grows into something you thought you left behind.

With each growing voice it gets harder to hear the outside world.

A world you once knew suddenly twisted and disgusting.

You try to scream, but they fill your lungs with empty words.

All the while the dance grows louder and faster.

Suddenly everything turns into a blur as you spin faster and faster.

But then you hear voices that are singing all your feelings and the dance slows.

Suddenly it's like you float back onto your bed and the music brings you back to reality.
