Author’s Note:

Many of us have been hurt in past relationships and have either gotten a poor apology from the person who destroyed our hearts, or no apology at all. This particular script is written especially for those with hurting hearts after being cheated on or lied to. My goal with this script is to not only to express what I wish had been said to me after having been cheated on and lied to – but to soothe the wounds of others who have been hurt or are still hurting.

Summary:

The overall idea is that the ex-girlfriend (the reader), has received an unexpected voicemail from her ex-boyfriend (the main character); whom overwhelmed with remorse, apologizes for his wrongdoings in the relationship with a tearful plea for forgiveness.
