Nice games, funny plot and silly characters, lots of grinding, interesting gameplay, but I wouldn't recommend you to play them one after another since they're pretty similar and you might end up tired of them.

What type of game are these?

Interesting, I'll give it a try then, thanks!

Sega Neptune was a prototype for Megadrive + 32X, not a new system really and also older than the Dreamcast. https://segaretro.org/Sega_Neptune

I've been working on owning all of these physically, I was only missing 2 and Sega Girls. I can't say no to 2 at this price. If I can find it physically later then I'll add it to the collection later.

Absolutely reccomend it to anyone new to the series.

I wanted them physical but, damn, they're expensive. Good luck finding the ones you're missing!

Thanks man, you too! Just remember if you have a local GameStop they can call other stores and ask them to ship a game to your store for you!

Shhhhhh

I've got a physical 2 that I've been looking to sell. Message me and maybe we can work something out.

Which one is the best out of those 3?

If you have to get one and don't know anything about Neptunia I recommend Re;birth 1 to see if you'll like it or not

A lot of people liked Re;birth 3 and 2, but I think 1 is the overall winner. I also personally recommend using the re-translation/fan-translation mod for 2 and 3 because of it being hurt by Nick Doerr's influence on the localization

So if i haven’t played any of them it wouldn’t make since for me to start with 2 or 3?

I mean you'd be able to get away with it maybe but it would be much better to start with 1. Its technically standalone/unconnected to the others but it introduces the characters and world very well to newcomers. You can get away with 2 or 3 by themselves maybe but I would start with 1 if possible

Are they all PSTV compatible?

2
MysticalSylph•

Rebirth 1 is not sadly

Hmm. It's interesting because it talks about PSTV on the page, but it's not on the official compatible list. Thinking about buying it and taking a chance.

I didn't try with my PSTV before I got my Vita since I read everywhere it wasn't and didn't bother trying myself I admit

I really shouldn't. I already have 1-2 on PC and haven't finished them yet. And my Vita backlog is big as it is.

That's the exact situation I'm in lol I played like half of 1 on PC and haven't touched 2 yet. I loved the story in 1 but the grind really took me out of it. I did manage to play through all the spin-offs (besides Producing Perfection) and I highly recommend those if you want good Nep stories packed into games that won't take you weeks to finish. The references to the mainline games are pretty minimal, it just helps to know who the characters are.

I'd be surprised if anyone didn't have these by now

Be surprised. I've been tempted before but not sure when I'd find the time for them or if I should find the time.

MysticalSylph•

You should find the time friend

I played all of the originals on PS3, so I never had these high on my priority list.
