I picked this one up as well. My 1st Munktiki and an absolutely beautiful mug.
Yay! I love these guys. Have 2 of their mugs- would have more if I was monied lol. Which color did you get?
I got blue as well. I'm tempted to get another, but I've spent my tiki wad for the month.
I feel ya!
We have one too! They are such great mug makers.
Might be the coolest mug I've ever seen
I've got the same mug, bought with a brown boxhead. FYI that boxhead is small capacity but good for my wife who drinks 1/2s.
Anyway- had a rum punch out of it tonight as a mater of fact.
Nice! I could see using it as a vase, too.
beautiful - I really wanted one but the shipping to Canada was prohibitive, especially when I'm probably going to get hit with duties to boot. Shipping has cost me the pleasure of many mugs but saved me hundreds of dollars.
We really need to organize a tiki mug "underground railroad" to send things across the border as duty free "gifts".
Oh man I’m sorry! Yeah that’s no fun. I lived in Canada for a few years. Loved the people and beautiful surroundings. If only I could handle the gloom; had to run back south to see the “ Day Star “ lol. I like this “ tiki railroad” idea below. Whereabouts are you?
I'm in Ottawa. Someone open a Tiki bar here... please!
I sometimes wonder where these shipping costs are coming from. I often ship to things across the border and it doesn't run me US$50 to send a small package.
According to Critiki there is one called The Aloha Room in Ottawa! As a Torontonian, I can semi relate but we have The Shameful Tiki Room (and a few others) to help me scratch my tiki itch. The shipping is nuts. I believe it has something to do with weight. It's such a pain that now I'm in pursuit of making my own Tiki mugs!
