My first post- "Motivation"

Would love any feedback:)

"Motivation"

Why do I wake up in the morning?
Some days I haven't a clue
Maybe to smell the roses
Or just a glance from you

I'll say this much, it isn't easy
To get your clothes & call it a day
"Simple," Simple," "What's wrong with you?"
Yet my mind awakes torn & frayed

Don't think the yesterdays
Put your mind on the present 
No matter what, in the end of the day
You'll lie staring at the crescent 

I keep my head high all through
Because one thing will remain true
I'm certain that once the sun sets new
I love me, and someone else does too.
