On an Anniversary

You started as an experiment, A thing some people cannot stop doing, But I have the willpower to try only once.

Then you were a distraction. A bit of entertainment, here and there, A place for my noisy mind to find escape.

You soon became an addiction. Every moment, every breath, every stress Had me desperate for nothing but you.

So now, here I am, I am yours. I have relinquished my own control After 5 years on Reddit.
