Zykov fantasy question
NHL.com has zykov at 50 + points, I read some of your threads and people are not even positive he’s on the roster, what’s going on with him? He’s he on the top 2 lines you figure?

It really depends what line he plays on. I am sure he will play on one of the 2 PP units, but if he plays on the top line with Aho and TT for most of the year 25-30 goals and 50+ points is extremely reasonable.

he's for sure making the roster, i don't think we are sure where he is slotting in at though. that, along with a really small sample size, makes it real hard to predict his performance this year.
Where has he been playing in pre season? Any powerplay time or playing time with aho?
but yeah his net front presence will definitely get him some PP time
Thanx for the reply man, basically I’m in a keeper pool and I ended up with zykov on a 2 year contract in a trade. Just don’t know if I should try and sell him high right away or see if he’s the real deal.

I manage a keeper league and we're in our second year of keeper status (league is 6 years old). Could you elaborate a bit on the rules of your league? I feel we have a lot of room to grow.
during his stint last year, he played on our top line with Aho and TT, but Rod has gone on record saying he doesn't really like Aho at center. if that's the case, he might reunite the Finns with Staal. even if Aho stays at center, Zykov may have to beat out Svech and Ferland. our lines have been a mess in preseason and Rod has said to not look into them too much.
