Hands to Yourself

Feedback Received!

Today a little boy reached out for my knee

His mother stood two steps ahead four feet above

She tugged his wrist

"Keep your hands to yourself now" she said.

Will he remember thirteen years from now?

When two girls park bikes in his driveway

Sun hot enough for spaghetti straps

Boys and girls giggles rise from the basement

Will he remember when he throws a blanket

Thick enough for darkness

Thin enough for blooming curves

Over two freshly combed brunettes

Two boys take turns holding four ankles

Will he remember while grabbing lumps of flesh

"Keep your hands to yourself"
