I’m attracted to fire, but scared of pain.
Are these crumbs to eat or follow?
The foulest medicine must still be swallowed.
Things are simple, so why so strange?
My synchronistic mind’s deranged.
Do I see ahead, or am I blind?
How’d you sneak up from behind?
Too many questions, not enough answers,
Too few moments, with not enough chances.
I have to watch and wait to see,
Is there a reason for why and a meaning for me?
Will I realise before you do?
Can either option even be true?
Who knows? Not me, and I wouldn’t trust you.
I am revivified anew.
