An extract from my novel. it's the second chapter from Emilia's point of view. I've been struggling getting into her head space so tried to take her out into the world to see how she would react to certain things.

There may be things that don't make sense (her [ex]boyfriend was in the flat the day before) but hopefully that's because it's an extract and not because the writing is confusing. Please let me know if it is.

Any and all feedback welcome, I'm quite keen to know what is thought about the prose.
