Spinoza's Nose

where Spinoza goes

it goes

absorbs blows

from his foes

marks his pose

like a Portuguese rose

not something he chose

(so it goes)

though Spinoza’s nose

is consoled

by what it knows

that the growth

in essence is also

the host
