I found the official one the dude posted as a reply, but it won't let me join. I don't have a Request Invitation button but I do for other teams. Anyone else having this issue?

Is it full? They can only hold 2k, and they were over 1k when I joined last night

What level are you? You join it on PC or Xbox?

I just figured out how to join! In Forza, I was going to the Team Adventure tab, clicking Find a Team, and searching for a team. I found it but couldn't join it.
Then I went to the Club tab, clicked Search, and was able to find and join it.

This worked great!

My understanding is that the club is a larger group of people and the team is limited to 25. Not sure exactly why they split it this way but yeah.

Yeah. Clubs are a bit strange. Search for Giant Bomb and you'll find it. The tag is [BOMB]
