You pick up the phone and listen to the words coming down the line.
You hold the phone even after the words have stopped and the phone is dead.
In a desperation you doubt what you have just heard, then it hits you like a shot to Your heart.
The tears start to swell as the first one rolls down your cheek it is cold and salty as it hits the corner of your mouth you cry out hard and scream, you cannot breathe burying your face in your pillow.
You want nothing but to be held but no one is near so the night closes in around you and the darkness holding you tight as the sandman comes to end your tears for the night.....
