The other one had ele damage as an implicit and even the crap crit roll on it is better than the light res imo- i think this one comes in @ #2

Higher aps is probably better than the ele implicit, at least in feel.

Agreed, compounded by the fact it's t2 hybrid ias vs t1

On my other thread about Foe Thirst, Highborn bow, (3/20 Elder with +1 arrow), there was an argument about thicket vs highborn, mentioning that Thicket only beats out the Ele implicit on Highborn/imperial if you have ~580% inc dmg (Which most people won't), then Highborn wins

Alright, because you obviously didnt get the point [/u/TheRealShotzz] made earlier

A Thicket Bow has 1.5 APS, compared to the 1.45 APS of an Imperial Bow this equals roughly 3.4% >more damage (1.5/1.45).

In order to beat the 24% increased damage of an Imperial Base you therefore need a factor of at >least 1.45*(24%/0.05)=696% from various damage increases (+596% increased damage).

I looked up a few PoBs for pretty optimized Ele Hit builds which averaged around +520% to +530% >increased damage, therefore a Bow base with the Implicit scaling will perform better in those >cases.

TL;DR: Ppl wont mirror it if it IS a Thicket Bow if they dont somehow can squeeze out 600%+ >increased damage scaling. (Although around the 600% damage mark the difference is so marginal that >the base wont really matter so if the PERFECT mirror bow is only made on either of these bases the >whole argument is completely irrelevant, nobody "wont mirror" because it is like 0.5% less damage >than if it was on another base).

You're missing the fact the bows are not identical not withstanding base.

This is 10-12% ias/20% more hybrid bracket, t1. The other bow is t2.

I'm not trying to say your bow is bad, or worse than mine, or anything like that. I'm simply pointing out a previous conversation on bases.

Ultimately it's 24% inc dmg and 19% multi vs 5.6% more attack speed.

Personally, I'm not even playing crit, so its this bow 100% of the way for me. But if crit is your thing and you don't mind the slower speed, go for it

To your "Big boy is in the house"

I counter you this. https://i.imgur.com/u5coHr5.png

Copied it into POB, getting less dps, as expected for my setup. Curious what the difference is for a crit build, I would guess perhaps 6-7% dmg increase between 19 multi and 24% dmg for ele hit

I'm not too sure, I'm pretty shit with builds and pob and whatnot or i'd tell you what my DPS is. To my understand in most cases crit outshines non crit on almost any build.

This is a disgusting bow. Which fossils were used to craft?

If i were to guess, Metallic, Corroded, Serrated and Prismatic.

Or if 3 socket you could drop Prismatic and still have a decent shot at hitting the prefixes.

It was most definitely

Metallic, Corroded, Serrated.

Bruh, lightning resistance? Vendor.

Well, at least I got a divine back.

The arguments in these threads always remind me of arguing about whether a Ferrari or a Lamborghini, meanwhile they all own a hyundai

Except the two people arguing the most own the two respective bows they are arguing about.

There's a 1.59 aps highborn out there I saw posted about half an hour ago, after a series of 3 mod bows posted the last few days.

Pretty sure 1.68 aps will beat that one out but I haven't POB'd it. Plays smoother for sure, I'm pretty happy with it. Not going to try and plug a mirror service

Saw this one pop up on poe trade a few weeks ago. Sadly didn't have the currency to buy it. Always wondered what happened to it since then.
