I sit and set my chips on the table The dealer shuffles and deals me in I decided to take this gamble Filled with hope and an unsteady feeling

The dealer lays down the cards One by one as I count 2 of Spades... 10 of Diamonds... I tap the table... “Just one more”.

I stare intently... the room goes quiet A chill running down my spine... The card is flipped... Queen of Hearts I sit back and sigh The dealer looks right through me I can’t hide what I’m feeling now I look away... I lost this bet...

I reach for one more chip “Deal me in...” I calmly say Another gamble, another chance...
