I Watch You Lay There,

I watch you lay there,

Untouched, Unloved.

 

Full of admiration, I wander over to you,

Grabbing your sturdy body.

 

Tickling your spine,

I open you wide, and stare at your glory.

 

Flipping through your knowledge,

I learn,

You speak to me with your sweet words.

 

What a shame no one loves you more,

But I,

I love you the most.

 

Nothing will ever sway me from you,

My tome of knowledge
