The Throng so far
Just discovered this subreddit, and I figured it would be neat to post my army so far. Been about 2 years or so in creation, slowly picking at it from time to time.

Longbeards
Ironbreakers
Cannon
Vulkite Berserkers
Next, I plan on finishing the Fyreslayer heroes I already started, then paint up some Handgunners, and decide where I want my army to go. Originally I had 20 Dwarf Warriors planned, but with GHB2018, I might rebuild my dispossessed list a little.
The Fyreslayers aren't part of the planned list, I have just painted them for fun.
I also have a bunch of Kharadron Overlord stuff, since apparently I have more space than sense. I will get through it all eventually, but I want to finish the 1000 point Dispossessed army first.

Really nice paint jobs! For a long time i hated the new Runelord but I've changed my mind after seeing the longer beard version of the head up close. The head with the bunched beard always looked too human to me! Once I've finished my 2 classic metal Runelords i'll probably pick one up and use the same head you did.
Well, I will use your accounts birthday to say it is probably one of the most fun beards I have had to paint. So big yet so detailed, I love painting hair details.
The Runelord model as a whole is loads of fun actually. The cape was fun to shade and highlight, the armour is a neat mix of trimmed plate and scale, the helmet is a funky shape and the weapon options are all fun to get creative with, especially the burning rune.
It's my cake day? Squeee! How exciting. Great work again.
