The Queen and her Knight

Wrote this for a woman ive madly fallen for, during the flight home from Vegas to san Jose, CA (1 hr 15min). Took the entire trip.

Once upon a time, in a land so surreal,

lived a tall petite girl, with so much appeal.

With fiery brown hair, and fair colored skin,

Ruby red lips and a wonderful chin.

With almond shaped eyes darker than the blackest coal,

Just a quick glance, and one could peer into her soul.

She is as honest and passionate as one could be,

Also courageous, funny, and a little bit silly.

With a smile so perfect any heart would melt,

In a casino she would distract you from any hand you were dealt.

But alas any hope one has of winning her heart,

You better be prepared and be really smart,

For this girl is tricky and very hard to get

Mostly impossible; a very tough bet.

The chase she enjoys and the attention she does appreciate,

So just be yourself, and try not to deviate.

Be gentle and kind and always stay true,

if you put in the effort, her feelings will brew.

She may be a bit slow while you wait for her heart to blossom,

Try not to worry, for she's not playing possum.

When enough time has passed and she decides to let you in,

Do not mess it up and stay away from sin.

This girl is perfect and no faults can be seen

So treat her with respect because she's a Queen.

If a name for this girl is what you desire,

I will tell you its Minnie, and I am no liar.

With that in mind, are you ready for the Quest?

To chase, to fight for, to take the final test?

...I must confess, I lied, this test is not possible,

Attaining her love is simply not doable

I am the one whos competing so I must ask you to not try,

Please kindly move along, because her heart is mine.

I will do anything she asks and go on any adventure,

For Minnie is everything to me, and my heart...
