Seasons with you (Summer)

It’s been a grey year of monotony /
Until now, at December’s blushing dawn /
as colour sings in a vibrant harmony, /
and you shine, leading summer’s symphony /

You paint my window with a yawn /
On fiery glass, on splattered stones /
And on my heart you’ve drawn /
a spell to render all gloom gone /
