Washing Machine

Our washing machine fell apart

Leaving us to hand wash for weeks

The screws fell out,

and the door stayed ajar.

My momma said this was

A lesson in

Appreciation,

I took it as a lesson in

Depreciation

Because Capitalism sucks.

​

So here I am washing

My two loads,

And I might as well be in a river,

Because modern times is

Meaningless

Without the modern,

And labor

seems to only involve a

Her.
