If The Sky Was Black.
If The Sky Was Black.
If the sky was black, what would it matter. Darkened shades of reality wash my hands;
As she further withdraws, my realm of happiness shatters. Something whole is no more, I am a broken man.
Dreams divulged, vanished love, a torn intimacy The guidelines of my kingdom departed.
Questioning my own being, I'm forced to survive. Surveying the destruction of what my heart achieved; I wonder.
If the sky was black, what would it matter Darkened shades of reality wash my hands;
A sentiment of betrayal, a whisper of rain, a hint of deacy I'm alone in this place; cement my memories, gripped by hope.
The words of the past, grasp at my tounge. Regret holds it steady Silence is my peace, misery is my day, dejection is my life.
What was, shall be no more. What once, is gone. A faded picture is all that's left of you. Reminisce, just about us two. The thought consumes me, just as it shall for you.
My sky is black, what does it matter. A dark shade of reality washes my hands, and I finally realize; Your gone
