I’m gonna get married (I hope)

So I’m currently at the wedding of SO’s cousin and I’m not gonna lie, it’s been seriouslyyyy boring. However, in the last 2 hours (for a bit of context we were due to start the reception at 17:00, it didn’t start till 22:00 [ive heard of black people time but that was ridonkulous]) The bride and groom finally arrived.

My SO was part of the wedding party so when they all came out, I knew.

It’s always been on the cards that we would get married at some stage. But during the speeches, i knew. This is the person I was going to marry, in all the love and optimism flowing around the room, it became obvious to me. I’m going to have this experience with my SO (although better planned because to me you need at least two years to plan a wedding) in the not to distant future.

So I’ve decided. I want to spend the rest of my life with this person. I’m going to propose to them. We’ve been together four years. Now is the time! I’m over the moon with my decision.

I’ve been writing this post slowly throughout the evening and it’s about time i say it, somewhere at least so reddit here you go... I’m gonna marry my girlfriend. I love the thought and future of it.
